The Silicon Mountain Conference returns to Buea from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November 2026. The 2026 theme asks the question everyone outside the room is really asking: what can tech do for you?
Three days, one ecosystem
Thursday and Friday run at venues across Buea, with the Hackathon and Code Battle kick-off, parallel tracks for technology and developers, startups and entrepreneurship, women in STEM, and policy and the ecosystem, and the Founders/Funders Dinner on Friday evening. The main day, Saturday 14 November, is at Mountain Hotel, with the competition finals, Demo Day, the Tech Exhibition and about 1,000 participants.
Free with registration
The main conference is free with registration, so students, traders, farmers and first-time founders can take part. Register once for all three days and the programme, venues and reminders arrive on WhatsApp and email.
Compete for XAF 3M
Three competitions each carry a XAF 1,000,000 prize pool: the Startup Pitch Contest, the Code Battle & Hackathon and the AI Movie Contest. Every final is played out live on the main stage.
